2018 Chevrolet Camaro Sales Pulls Ahead of the Competition

2018 Chevrolet Camaro sales - Buff Whelan Chevrolet - Sterling Heights, MI

For a long time, it was typical to see the Ford Mustang on top in terms of monthly sales, and not far behind that was the Dodge Challenger. Due to its killer combination of incredible performance, stunning style, and overall value, however, the new Chevrolet Camaro is causing quite a stir as it disrupts this familiar sales trend. Outselling both the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger toward the end of 2017, the success of the new Chevrolet Camaro shows no signs of slowing down as 2018 rolls on.

In the face of overall muscle car sales declining toward the end of last year, and a huge 27.24% decline in the usually-popular Ford Mustang, 2018 Chevrolet Camaro sales are still going strong. This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise, as the Chevrolet Camaro delivers more of what is most important to modern drivers, including exhilarating performance, premium safety features, and more standard advanced technology features.

The Ford Mustang might have a legendary past, but it’s current offering are falling a little flat when compared to the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro, which boasts standard Drive Mode Selector, a 7-inch infotainment display, standard automatic climate control technology, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, all of which are absent in the 2018 Ford Mustang.

The Camaro is quickly becoming a crowd favorite. To see other reasons why Camaro is surging in popularity, visit Buff Whelan Chevrolet to get behind the wheel for a test drive.

Giving Back: Community Blood Drive at Buff Whelan Chevrolet

Successful blood drive at Buff Whelan

We would like to thank to the community for helping us to have such a successful blood drive at Buff Whelan Chevrolet on December 1st of 2017.

We want to express a huge “THANK YOU” to everyone who came out to our blood drive— it was a tremendous success! We collected 172 pints of blood. With each pint being capable of helping three people, that is 516 lives saved!

That brings our grand total since starting our series of seasonal blood drives 14 years ago to — drumroll, please — 10,220 pints. We’ve done the math; this means 30,660 lives saved!

From the bottom of our hearts, we cannot thank you enough for the kindness and generosity of all our friends and neighbors who came out on December 1st to make a difference with us.  We look forward to seeing you all at our next blood drive on March 2nd.

If you’re interested in donating blood at this upcoming event but haven’t before, make sure you follow these guidelines:

  • Eat a healthy meal and avoid fatty foods
  • Wear a shirt that exposes your elbows or can be easily folded up past your elbows
  • Bring a valid form of ID that verifies your age, such as a driver’s license; you must be at least 17 years of age
  • Don’t come if you’re feeling ill

Together, WE CAN make a difference!
