All-New 2019 Chevrolet Blazer Debuts at the Chicago Auto Show

2019 Chevrolet Blazer

At the Chicago Auto Show in February, Chevrolet rolled out the all-new 2019 Blazer, a sporty mid-size crossover bearing the nameplate of the classic Chevy Blazer SUV, which Chevrolet first introduced in the 1960s and ended its run in 2005. But, now the Blazer is back.

The new Blazer slots between the compact Equinox and the mid-size Traverse in terms of size, making it a perfect option for drivers who want a crossover that offers sporty performance and looks, is easy to maneuver, and still has plenty of cargo space.

It’s rare to see a performance-focused SUV that still delivers utility, but the Blazer has utility in spades, with a max towing capacity of 4,500 pounds. Plus, it has a smart Cargo Management System to help parents, weekend warriors, and frequent travelers make room for all their things.

The 2019 Chevrolet Blazer debut announcement revealed that the new SUV is available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and comes with two engine options: a 2.5-liter four-cylinder and a 3.6-liter V6. The base engine delivers plenty of excitement with its 193 horsepower, but the V6’s 305 horsepower lets the Blazer’s exhilarating ride shine even more.

The inside of the new Blazer is just as stylish as the outside, with a sizable infotainment system and stitching accents to the trim that make a sophisticated look. Also available on the Blazer are luxurious comforts like heated and ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, and smartphone compatibility for Apple and Android users.
